Thanks to my husband's insistence, we've had this morning marked on our calendars for a few weeks now. The morning found us at Target at 7:52. There was already a line formed at the door. We were the fifth set of persons to arrive, though there wasn't a strict line formed. The crowd steadily grew and I wondered if this was an every day occurrence at good old Target. When the doors opened I naively thought we would proceed in the order we'd arrived, but instead everyone pushed forward in an orderly throng. To my surprise, we were all rushing toward the same goal. The workers watched us rush by with surprised looks on their faces, obviously not realizing today was the day. By the time we got to the counter, we were #9 in line, having fallen back 4 places due to having to lug a kid with us. The man at the counter reassured us all that we would be taken care of and to form another line. An older woman who was just in the store shopping saw us all standing there and joined the line, not even knowing what it was for. She got on the phone and called someone to ask if they wanted her to stay in line to wait for one. They must have answered yes because she hung around with the rest of us.
I hope it was worth the wait.

I got mine too!! I don't like the fact that it calculates your body fat and gives you an appropriately sized mii, but at least the details are password protected. You can bet I will figure out a new password for that sensitive information.

D'oh! We tried to get on the list for one at our game store but they told us not to bother, it was full. Oh well. I'm still very into MarioKart which I can do sitting on my ass.
You'll have to tell me all about it!
Was thinking of getting that for T. How much was it? The Sam's Club here surprisingly had a lot of Wii stuff, including games, guitars, etc.
Cool! Can't wait to hear how you like it!
Have you played it yet? Let me know what you think! I hear the hula hoop game rocks and I used to be a damn good hula hooper! :)
Ha! It's like today's "Tickle Me Elmo"! =)
We really need to jump on the Wii wagon!
Wow. Nintendo has certainly done a good job limiting supply to keep demand high, huh?
