Today, for the first time in history:
Parker ate everything that was on her plate.
& not only that, but...
She asked for seconds of something (fresh red raspberries).
& not only that, but...
She asked for thirds of the raspberries, which she then did not eat, but still.
I'm in shock.
In completely unrelated news, DST is still making us her bitch as Parker has not napped for 2 days now. Ouch.
In further completely unrelated news, Parker is absolutely obsessed with Caillou. I fail to see the appeal but she asks for him by name, repeatedly.

I HATE Caillou. He's a whiny, spoiled brat. I refuse to let Maddie watch it because I don't want her to emulate him.

I'm so behind on the cool kids TV. I still like Teletubbies and Sesame Street. We've never seen The Wiggles or Caillou or really anything else. We'll have to try.

THE TWINS LOVE HIM TOO! And so did Robert and William when they were two. I can't understand it, because he is the whiniest little whine bucket EVER.

Yeah Parker on eating so much. We have fresh raspberry vines. All through June last year Zachariah was eating raspberries straight off the vines. He LOVED them. He loves all fresh fruit. And I can't wait until our raspberries are back again this year. I'm sure he'll quickly remember.
WHY is my kid STILL not watching TV? BAAAAAH.
What is WITH the constant asking for "MORE MORE" and then not eating it? That drives me insane.

I'm so very sorry about the Caillou issue. Hope it's over very quickly and you won't have to hear that whiny, bratty kid any longer than you have to.
Caillou is the devil---I don't know how a children's show with such a whiny main character ever made it onto television. Maybe they didn't do any parent focus groups? I think it took less than a week of watching him before he joined our list of banned television shows (along with Barney).
Yay for eating! I don't think I want to know what Caillou is.
A roommate and I used to watch that show about six years ago and freak out at how strange it was. And...how cloudy. It's so weird!
